If you’ve already broken your New Year’s resolutions, maybe want to change them or even start a new one? Well, here at Snappy Snaps we love taking photos of everything, everywhere. This challenge is fun and easy to stick to: The 365 Photo Challenge or even The 52 Week Photo Challenge, whichever you want to do.
How to do it? It’s easy, take a photo of anything and find the beauty in it. This could be everyday objects, nature, work-life and even home life. At the end of the year, it’ll be these little memories that get lost through the big events. But you’ll always have these photos to look back on and remember.
Taking photos is like a visual journal and chances are you’re probably already taking a photo a day, maybe even more. Especially if you have children or pets. You don’t have to be a professional photographer to do this challenge, it doesn’t matter if the shot is out of focus, doesn’t have the full subject in it or just looks completely different to how you wanted it. They will still be great memories.
What Photos Should You Take?
Photos you see on your way to work/home/shops or just out for a walk
What you eat in the day
Everyday object around the home or at work
Family or pets
To make it easier, have a theme every week. This could be architecture, nature, portraits of people, colour, black & white, the ideas are endless. By the time December 31st 2020 comes, you will have a year of memories, from good days, bad days and some from all seasons. Invite your friends and family to do this challenge as well and compare photos at the end of the year!
What To Do With All Of These Photos?
Each month you can choose your favourites and get them printed, in gloss or matt and in a variety of sizes.
Depending on your local store, you can create loads of personalised gifts for you or others. We have products ranging from mugs to keyrings.
Another great way to display them is in a photo book either after every month or wait till the end of the year to fill it with a year’s worth of photos.
